Further to last week’s outage in Elkford and the surrounding area, BC Hydro reports it needs to take a second power outage to all customers in Elkford and the surrounding rural area on Saturday, February 18 from noon to 1 p.m.

Repairs have been completed at the Elkford Substation and this hour-long outage is needed to return the substation to its regular operation, BC Hydro explained.
