Annex Suspended Art is a collaboration between Brina Schenk and Michelle Galway, two friends from Fernie who have a desire to make things with their hands.

Initially, the pair used Schenk’s paintings as inspiration in sculpting a collection of hanging art – a new and enthralling form of storytelling. From this idea the women explored different mediums, including clay, fabric, felt, papier mâché and wire.

This pairing of unique talents are excited to invite you to their installation of awe and wonder.

The opening reception at The Arts Station is Thursday, February 23 at 7 p.m. The exhibit continues until Tuesday, March 28.
