Bears accessing garbage in Fernie
WildSafeBC Elk Valley today reports bears are getting into garbage left outdoors throughout Fernie.
Bears are accessing garbage on 4th Avenue and in Ridgemont in Fernie.
“Please keep all garbage locked up and inaccessible to bears and clean up fruit trees. The end result will be a safer community for your family and prevent the needless destruction of bears,” WildSafeBC said.
