Feast for a Cause coming to Fernie

Uniting Community Through Culinary Excellence

Get ready for a big food event with heart! The Rotary Club of Fernie is excited to announce Feast for a Cause, happening on May 4, at the Fernie Community Centre.

Organized by The Rotary Club of Fernie and Culinary Advisor, chef Barrie Elliott from Fernie Catering Co., Feast for a Cause is all about celebrating Fernie’s food scene and our community’s spirit of giving back.

At this event, you’ll sit down to a unique long table dinner experience, featuring dishes crafted by over 10 local chefs and food producers, using the freshest ingredients from our area. Hosted by MC Sadie Rosgen, this interactive night will be full of chef interviews, awards, and silent auction fun.

“We’re thrilled to have Chef Barrie Elliott on board to make this night unforgettable,” said Anita Palmer, President of the Rotary Club of Fernie.

“The Rotary Club of Fernie has a history of bringing awesome projects to our city, like the Aquatic Centre Splash Park and Fernie Rotary Park, it’s time to raise funds to launch another one!” added Palmer.

“We’re inviting all local restaurants and food producers to join us! Bramasole’, Chilango’s, Chopsticks, Iggy’s, The Loaf, Island Lake Lodge, and Yamagoya are already on board, and we look forward to others joining,” said Chef Barrie from Fernie Catering Co.

Special thanks to Teck Resources and Eldho’s Independent Grocer for their support, along with many other local businesses.
