Fernie SAR secure skier with spinal injuries
Fernie Search and Rescue (SAR) reports it was called out today (Jan. 29) to respond to an injured skier in the Little Sand area.
Three Fernie SAR Techs responded via helicopter and the man was long-lined out.
He was flown directly to East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook with serious spinal injuries.
