Fernie is set to come alive March 1 to 3 with the return of the city’s biggest annual celebration – Griz Days 2024.

While there lead-up events, things get rolling Friday, March 1, including the Rocks of Thunder – Griz Curling Bonspiel, free swimming at the Aquatic Centre and the Griz Days Kickoff Dance Party at 9 p.m. at the Elk’s Hall.

Things really get interesting March 2, with a shwack of things to do and see, including the Extreme Griz Competition, hysterically cute Baby Griz Crawl (lead image) and Griz Days Parade starting at 6 p.m. downtown.
