Fernie was alive with the sound of corduroy, fun competitions and for a brief, altogether spectacularly cute period, babies during the annual Griz Days festivities March 4.

A day stuffed full of activities received a hilarious and heartwarming start-up at the Fernie Community Centre, where a packed market was taking place.

On the stage at 11 a.m., parents and babies gathered for the Griz Days Baby Races.
