Cranbrook artist Maddisun is headlining the next Wednesday Social at Fernie’s Station Square 0n July 24.

Each week Fernie gathers in Station Square to enjoy live music for free!

Support act this week is another regional talent, Emma Kade, who will open the evening at 6 p.m.

She is an award-winning singer and songwriter based out of Radium Hot Springs.

Channeling sweet melodies in combination with unforgettable lyrics, there is a song for everyone in her music. With already 10 years of professional songwriting under her belt, her songwriting credits span a variety of genres including Country, Folk, Pop, Hip-Hop, Gospel, Rock, and Dance music.

Maddisun will go on at 7 p.m.

Branding herself as “Joni Mitchell on Rock n Roll steroids,” Maddisun’s songs explore emotional journeys of love, loss, heartache, growth, redemption, and resilience, she weaves together indie-folk, Americana, classic rock, and electro-pop influences that reflect her raw vocal talent, pure musicality, and unfiltered authenticity.
