The day has almost arrived and we are very excited about our Book Bike Summer Program Launch: Ride with Librarians on Tuesday, May 31 from 4-5:30 p.m.

Itinerary

4 p.m.       All bikes and riders meet at library parking lot and hand our bike streamers to all participants to put on their bikes.

4:15 p.m.   Depart library and start our ride: meeting spots will be set up with helium balloons in advance so riders can meet there and join in.

5:10 p.m.     Set up at IDES Field/ Prentice Park Covered area for a Picnic Potluck.

5:15 p.m.     Storytime for all ages at prentice Park (in shelter in case of inclement weather) and a few prizes!

No exceptions – this is not a drop-off program. Children who are unaccompanied will be asked to stay at the library and not be able to participate in the ride.

The library is not responsible for riders or bicycles: parents are responsible for their children throughout the entire ride and event.

All riders to wear bike helmets. Riders can start with us at the library parking lot at 4 p.m. or may join us along the way at one of the nine stations throughout town indicated on the map (see reverse). Each station will be well marked with green balloons and signage.
