Up Next in The Arts Station Gallery….

We live in a world much smaller, and yet much larger, than it once was. We can wake up one morning in Fernie and the next in Guam or Antarctica. But what if we lived somewhere that travel and technology had not yet knitted us together? How would we see the mysterious world that lies beyond our narrow sliver of the universe?

Most importantly, what kind of people would live in these far-distant places? Lindsay Vallance’s series of nine new mask pieces attempts to answer these questions.

The opening reception is Tuesday, January 31 at 7 p.m. at The Arts Station in Fernie.

The exhibit continues until Wednesday, Feb. 22.
