Jaffray community turns out for fuel reduction work
The East Kootenay FireSmart Program would like to thank the Sand Creek Lions Club, Sand Creek Seniors Drop-In Centre, and a team of hard-working volunteers for leading a fuel reduction treatment this past Wednesday.
The team of community volunteers, with support from the East Kootenay FireSmart Program, worked to reduce fuel loading on the land between the seniors housing complex and the Jaffray Pub. The Sand Creek Seniors Drop-In Centre prepared and served lunch.
