Coal Miner Days tees off in Sparwood
Coal Miner Days (CMD) officially gets underway in Sparwood today (June 3), and runs through to Sunday, June 9
The fun begins at the Sparwood Golf Course with a free round of Short Golf. This is a great way to try your swing at golf with equipment that is specifically designed to make learning the game fun and easy.
This year’s community celebration has something for everyone – from sporting events to bounce houses and everything in between.
CMD proceeds have been raised to support: Lilac Terrace expansion, new Sparwood Skate Park, Raise a Child UP, Sparwood EDC Committee, Sparwood Food Bank, Search & Rescue as well as sporting groups in our community.
The Coal Miner Days Society is excited to announce some of the events for this year’s week-long festivities, featuring businesses and not for profits throughout our great community!
