Young Agrarians: Elk Valley is hosting a Local Farming Round Table Discussion and Potluck Social on Tuesday, October 9 from 4:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the Sparwood Senior Citizen’s Drop-In Centre (101-4th Avenue).

The evening will include a presentation from Gillian Saunders about the effectiveness of electric fencing as a tool to protect fruit trees, livestock and wildlife. Hailey Troock, Columbia Basin Land Matcher, will share information regarding the Columbia Basin Land Matching Program.

Bring a dish to share and tools to eat with. Children are welcome but please leave furry friends at home.
