Are you interested in learning more about FireSmart and the FireSmart 101 program?

If so, we welcome you to join us on Thursday, August 7 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Sparwood Recreation Centre for the FireSmart Community Information Open House.

During the event, Sparwood’s FireSmart Coordinator will cover the FireSmart 101 program, explore how it connects with our local initiatives and discuss what it means for Sparwood.

If you’re interested in receiving a FireSmart 101 certificate, please bring a phone, tablet, or laptop so you can log in and complete the program online.

While this isn’t required to attend, it’s a great way to deepen your understanding and take home a tangible recognition of your commitment to wildfire safety.
