District of Sparwood Mayor and council invite the community to help create a meaningful snapshot of life in Sparwood today, for residents of the future to discover.

Help us develop a time capsule to be placed in 2026, and opened 40 years later, in 2066 on Sparwood’s 100th Anniversary.

This new time capsule will capture messages, memories, and reflections that represent our community in 2026.

This is an opportunity for individuals, families, businesses, schools, service groups, churches, and community organizations to share what life is like today and what hopes we hold for the future.
