Christmas tree pick up will be underway this week in the District of Sparwood. Please have your tree at the end of the curb easy to access and free of decorations and tinsel by 8 a.m. on January 6.

There will be drop off locations at the Sparwood Heights compost and at the Lower Sparwood compost area for those who choose to keep their trees up longer.

The deadline for dropping off at those locations will be January 12, 2026. Any trees discarded after this date will be required to be brought directly to the transfer station.
