Vancouver Police Department (VPD) reported this morning they have arrested Randall Hopley, ending a 10-day search for the high-risk sex offender who fled his halfway house on November 4.

Former Sparwood resident Hopley was arrested in the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver shortly after 6 a.m. and is currently in custody at the Vancouver Jail.

A Canada-wide warrant was issued for Hopley on Nov. 4.

More details will be revealed later, VPD said.
