Due to weather on December 14 the temporary traffic closure was rescheduled and will be taking place tomorrow, December 16.

Please be advised of a full closure of up to two hours on Highway 3, at 4.5km east of Elko for safety to the motoring public while blasting rock material to be used for repair flood sites in the Elk Valley.

There will be 15-minute closures with a single lane alternating traffic pattern following the main closure until 5 p.m. Access will remain for emergency vehicles.

Time: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
