Extras needed for Hard Powder
Banff’s loss is the East Kootenay’s gain.
A feature film starring Liam Neeson (Hard Powder) is coming to the region on an emergency basis after being denied permission to film in Banff National Park by Parks Canada because the film’s plot involves an indigenous gang leader (played by renowned Canadian actor/entertainer Tom Jackson).
Andrea Brown Casting has put out a casting call for extras in the the Fernie and Cranbrook areas.
The filmmakers are looking for people of all ages – from 15 to 100-years – to play ski resort locals and tourists in the film.
Shooting will be taking place in Fernie and Cranbrook between April 9 – 12 and extras will be required for one to two days.
