Letter to the Editor
After reading Gerry Warner’s column “Cranbrook’s latest elephant story is white” I offer the following: Sad story!
Sometimes people go looking for poop! And if you look deep enough you will find it because we all have to crap. I for one enjoy our Western Financial Place, using it four to five times a week. I marvel at what we have. I’m not blind to the impurities or the mistakes that happened, but proud of what we have.
Yes it needs some tender loving care – at an expense – but that doesn’t mean I’m going to crap on it. And it obvious that Western Financial Insurance believes in the place or they wouldn’t have PAID to put their name on it.
Yes present council has inherited the poop and has to look for the funds to fix it, and I’d bet some of them voted for it at the start and if they had to do it all over again they would vote YES for a second time because they know its value.
Hats off to all those who enjoy our Western Financial Place!
