The City of Kimberley and Kimberley Chamber of Commerce staged a festive 149^th birthday celebration for Canada July 1 in The Platzl.

Cake, music, including Oh Canada, games and fun for the kids and all that the carnival-like Platzl can offer made for a grand time for locals and visitors.
