City intends to close portion of St. Mary’s Avenue
The City of Kimberley intends to permanently close to traffic a 195.2 square metre portion of St. Mary’s Avenue, situated adjacent to 400 Ross Street (Sullivan Pub).
Any persons who consider they are affected by the proposed Road Closure Bylaw 2459 may make representations to Council with respect to the proposed road closure at the Public Hearing / Opportunity to Make Representations, scheduled for Monday, January 14, 2013 at 6:45 p.m., in the Council Chamber, City Hall, 340 Spokane Street.
If Road Closure Bylaw 2459 is approved, the city intends to sell that 195.2 square metre portion of St. Mary’s Avenue to the Sullivan Pub for the purpose of consolidation with the adjacent property owned by the purchaser for the sum of $25,000 plus expenses and taxes.
A copy of the Proposed Road Closure Bylaw 2459 and survey reference plan EPP25565 may be inspected at the Planning Services office, City Hall, 340 Spokane Street, during business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. from Monday to Friday daily, except holidays.
