Kimberley RCMP reports it has been advised by BC Conservation Officer Service that there have been multiple sightings of a cougar in the Forest Crowne gate area.

The sighting area encompasses Mark Creek Trail, Volksmarch Trails and Nature Park trails.

The cougar is not believed to have been responsible for anything but please be cautious when in these areas.
