Families the focus of next two weekends
The next two weekends will be all about families at Kimberley Alpine Resort.
This weekend it’s ‘Happy BC Family Day Weekend’ at the ski resort, along with the 2018 Para-Alpine Skiing World Cup, from today, Friday, Feb. 9 to Monday, Feb. 12.
There is night skiing this evening with live music following at the Stemwinder with Matt Blais.
There are events all day Saturday, Sunday and Monday, concluding with live music at Stemwinder (3 to 6 p.m.), with Matt Blais and The Testers performing.
Friday, Feb. 16 to Monday, Feb. 19 is equally busy with a host of Alberta Family Day Weekend events including Matchstick Productions’ Drop Everything Ski Film at the Kimberley Conference Centre Feb. 18.
Also, watch the Olympics live on the big Screen in Stemwinder, with viewing parties planned.
