Former Dynamiter finding the net for Ontario Tech
Braiden Koran (Kimberley Dynamiters alumnus) has started his fourth season in U Sports with the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks.
The 6-0, 211-pound forward has opened the season with two goals in two games. He scored on the power-play in a 6-2 loss to UQTR on Oct. 3. On Oct. 4, Koran scored in a 3-2 win over Carlton.
Last season Koran broke out offensively with five goals and 15 points in 28 games. He also collected two assists in two playoff games.
Overall, in four seasons and 74 career games, he has nine goals and 24 points. In his first season of U Sports, Koran was awarded Ontario University Athletics All-Academic and U SPORTS Academic All-Canadian awards. He is studying Criminology and Justice.
Koran played in 69 career regular season and playoff games (2017-19) combined for the Dynamiters, registering 17 goals and 32 assists for 49 career points.
