Kimberley Aquatic Centre reopens August 8
The Kimberley Aquatic Centre will re-open on Monday, August 8.
The Aquatic Centre will be offering additional toonie swims and community-sponsored free family swims.
Weekend hours will be expanded into the evening by an hour. The new hours of operation will be 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturdays and 1 – 8 p.m. on Sundays.
The Aquatic Centre will re-open with a soft start, meaning not all programming will be available in August. Please check the schedule on the City of Kimberley’s website. Regularly scheduled programs will resume in September.
The Aquatic Centre had been closed since late April due to a catastrophic water main failure flooded the electrical/pump room.
The City of Kimberley thanks all of the users of the Aquatic Centre for their patience.
