The Kimberley Fire Department is hosting a National Fire Prevention Week Open House and Barbecue on Thursday, Oct. 9.

Stop by the main fire hall between 6:30 and 8 p.m. for a bite and meet your local firefighters.

Check out trucks and equipment and learn about what is happening with the local department.

The barbecue is by donation with funds going to Muscular Dystrophy research.
