Kimberley Minor Hockey a Kruger Big Assist winner
With voting help starting April 8, Kimberley Minor Hockey Association is in line for $75,000 and San Jose Sharks 2024 first round selection Macklin Celebrini has their backs
Today, Kruger Products announced the Kimberley Minor Hockey Association (KMHA) as one of five recipients of the Kruger Big Assist, a program designed to give more kids access to hockey.
Now in its fifth year, the Kruger Big Assist has committed over $1 million to help Canadian hockey families in need by removing barriers and making the sport more accessible and inclusive.
As the regional winner, Kimberley Minor Hockey will receive $25,000 to give more kids in their community access to hockey.
Additionally, one regional winner will receive an additional $75,000, and which association wins is in the hands of Canadians.
From 3 p.m. MT on April 8 to 3 p.m. MT on April 11, Canadians will be able to vote for the association they think best showcases how they’ll get more kids on the ice and make the sport more accessible and inclusive.
The Pacific region is also represented by first overall 2024 NHL Draft Pick, Macklin Celebrini, who will be encouraging people across the country to join in on the assist and cast their vote for Kimberley Minor Hockey.
