Kimberley RCMP staff participate in Ride Don’t Hide

On June 23, Kimberley RCMP officers, staff, family and friends participated in the Ride Don’t Hide event to raise awareness of mental health.

Ride Don’t Hide is a nationwide fundraising bike ride that brings mental health into the open and raises critical funds that support CMHA programs in their own community.

We are proud to participate in Ride Don’t Hide 2019, so we can all get the support and help we need to thrive!

Kimberley participants ran, walked or rode various distances as part of the initiate.  Several used the Round the Mountain event as the venue to show their commitment.

“The detachment members, family and friends embraced the event, all in support of Mental Health, I’m proud of their dedication to the cause,” said Sgt. Chris Newel, Kimberley Detachment commander.
