Marysville Industrial Park work begins this week

The City of Kimberley will begin construction at the Marysville Industrial Park this week. This initiative aims to enhance the infrastructure along 315th Avenue from Bootleg Gap Golf Course to the 300-block cul-de-sac.

Residents can expect disruptions in the area throughout the project. Please pay attention to signage and detours and respect crews on site. Emergency access for police, fire, and medical response will be maintained at all times. Bootleg Gap Golf Course access will also be maintained for the project’s duration.

Funded primarily through a contribution from the province’s Regional Economic Diversification and Infrastructure Program (REDIP), the project includes critical upgrades to the water and sewer mains that service important industrial land.

The grant contributed $1 million to the project, with the Kimberley Land Development Reserve supporting the remaining $297,000 required. It will result in enhanced business development opportunities in the park.

The City of Kimberley thanks residents for their cooperation and patience during this construction.
