1932 – 2012
It is with deep sorrow that the family of Barbara Elizabeth Zaal announces her passing on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at the Kimberley Special Care Home “The Pines” in Kimberley, British Columbia at 79 years of age.
Barb was born on November 30, 1932 in Kimberley. She was an active member of the CWL and the Catholic Church.
Barb is survived by her two daughters Lisa Fehr and Denice Jowsey; her two sons Dick Zaal and John Zaal; her sister Esther Kinrade; 9 granddaughters; 3 grandsons; 2 great granddaughters and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Ted Zaal; her mother Mary Sgro; her father Tony Sgro and her sister Lucy Fletcher.
The family would like to that the Kimberley Care Home staff for the excellent care and attention she received there. She truly felt loved by all.
A memorial service for Barb will be held at a later date. Those wishing to make a memorial donation in honour of Barb may do so to: The Pines, 386 – 2nd Avenue, Kimberley, British Columbia, V1A 2Z8.
