Organic waste collection will resume Jan. 12
The City of Kimberley apologizes for the inconvenience caused by the cancellation of organic waste collection this week due to the fire at the Public Works Yard.
As a reminder:
– Organics Collection: Cancelled for all routes. Service will resume the week of Jan 12.
If your cart is full, you may take excess material to the Kimberley Transfer Station, but it must go in the garbage. If you have cold storage or a freezer, the contents can be stored until collection resumes.
– Route C Garbage: Pickup moved from Fri, Jan. 2 to Mon, Jan. 5. This includes:
Townsite;
Morrison Sub;
Wallinger Ave to Burdett Street;
Mark Street to Rotary Drive;
Church Ave and Downtown;
Ski Hill (from Sunrise Cres and up);
– Recycling: No changes.
The Kimberley Transfer Station: Open daily 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m., closed New Year’s Day.
