The Northstar Rails-to-Trails is a major attraction in our area. Thousands of cyclists, walkers, runners and rollerbladers use it.

The Northstar Rails to Trail Society works with the cities of Cranbrook and Kimberley all year long to enhance the trail.

This year the cities will be taking over the maintenance of the trail and the society will focus on promotion and new projects.

Do you use the trail? Want to have input on the trail? How about learn about the new projects and plans for 2016? Attend the NorthStar Rails to Trails Society annual general meeting on Tuesday, June 14, at 7 p.m. at Centennial Hall in Kimberley.

There are some directors’ positions to fill but the society hopes that you come and participate in the meeting. Hope to see as many of you there as possible. Support this first class recreational asset that we are fortunate enough to have in our backyard.
