Senior National Alpine Championships on in Kimberley
Kimberley Alpine Resort is hosting the 2023 Senior National Alpine Championships starting today (March 13) to Friday, March 17.
The Canadian National Championships are held each year, bringing athletes from across Canada to vie for national pride as the Canadian Champion.
The National Championships is one of the two largest events in Alpine Ski Racing in Canada and is the pinnacle event of the season, where club athletes have the chance to rub shoulders and race against Canada’s top athletes on the Canadian National Team.
Past Canadian National Champions include members of the current National Team, Canadian Cowboys, and recent alumni.
The races will feature Alpine Canada team members along with racers from USA, Japan, Spain, Great Britain, Switzerland and Australia.
Today featured the Super G race.

Tuesday, March 14 – Giant Slalom Race 1 on Rosa;
2:30 p.m. – Bib draw in Base Area (plaza);
Wednesday, March 15 – Giant Slalom Race 2 on Rosa;
Thursday, March 16 – Slalom Race 1;
Friday, March 17 – Slalom Race 2 – FIS on Rosa.
