Service clubs aid 2025 Gift of Christmas
Bailey Rasmussen, First Vice President of the Mark Creek Lions Club, presents a cheque for $1,500 for the “2025 Gift of Christmas” campaign. Receiving the cheque are Rotary Club of Kimberley’s “Gift of Christmas” co-chair, Deborah Nykyforuk, and Rotarian Thomas Datt.
Thanks to the Lions Club donation and the donations from the many generous donors at the “Sip and Support” fundraiser at the entrance to the Kootenay Savings Credit Union on Dec. 4, the total raised to date surpasses last year’s total of $16,800.
Special thanks to every group, business and all the generous donors who have ensured that many children and families will have a more joyful Christmas season this year.
Last minute donations can still be made at the Credit Union in Kimberley or by e-transfer to: [email protected].
