The Kimberley Fire Department anticipates beginning slash pile burning as early as November 1. This important work will support our community in many ways.

– It will reduce fire risk by removing excess fuel;

– It will provide protection to surrounding structures and trees;

– It will minimize smoke emissions;

– It will help avoid and/or limit invasive species propagation.

There may be low-lying smoke in burn areas but it should dissipate within 24-hours. Thank you for your patience as we conduct this important work.
