Porsche Hood Collab: A Display of Art and Generosity

Prepare to be amazed as Art Gallery Kimberley showcases the coolest Porsche hood ever seen! Thanks to the collaborative efforts of Calgary artists Michele Doucette and Rita Thorp (pictured above and left), this one-of-a-kind artwork will make an appearance in the gallery during Flannel Fest.

The Porsche hood, generously donated by Porsche Centre Calgary, represents a fusion of automotive excellence and artistic originality. Visitors will have the exclusive opportunity to witness this masterpiece in the Kootenays, making it a must-see event for art and car enthusiasts alike.

In addition, this remarkable creation serves a noble purpose. The Porsche hood will be raffled off at Michele and Rita’s art exhibition at the Porsche Centre in Calgary in May, with proceeds benefiting CUPS Calgary, an organization dedicated to supporting the city’s most vulnerable populations.

Hot Chocolate Mugs: Supporting Local Artisans and a Worthy Cause

Art Gallery Kimberley is delighted to partner with Centre 64 Ceramics and Grow – Cake & Chocolate to offer handmade ceramic mugs filled with delicious hot chocolate. These handmade mugs are crafted by the potters at Centre 64.

Proceeds from the mug sales will directly benefit Centre 64’s ceramic studio, assisting in acquiring new equipment vital for its operations. It’s a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a cozy beverage while making a meaningful contribution to the local arts community.
