Some City of Kimberley water users were left without service for a spell this morning.

“During Norton Avenue construction today the water main was struck resulting in a significant leak. Crews are on site and have the leak under control,” stated City of Kimberley Operations department on social media.

In controlling the leak the following areas will temporarily be without water while the repair is performed: Norton Avenue; Swan Ave.; Levirs Ave.; and the 100 block of Burdett.

“Crews will do their best to ensure this interruption is a brief as possible, we thank you for your patience during this time,” the city stated.
