Candidates nominated for ʔakisq̓nuk election
The ʔakisq̓nuk First Nation held its Nomination Meeting on April 7, in accordance with the Custom Election Regulations (2026).
Candidates were nominated for the upcoming chief and council election on May 19.
Three council seats will be contest including Chief Councillor (highest‑vote recipient).
