Welcoming billboard erected near Creston
It is a proud time for the Creston Valley and Canada!
The first billboard is now up, thanks to so many caring, individual contributors! Take a drive down Highway 21 to check it out! We thank each and every one of you, you carry the pride of being a part of this important project.
We would like to acknowledge our business supporters: Pealow’s, Creston & District Credit Union, Comfort Welding, Activity Base, Kokanee Pub, Hound’n’Mouser, Rook Design Media, Home Hardware, Duck Lake Turf.
We would also like to acknowledge the Ktunaxa Nation dignitaries who were on hand to witness the installation, and whose peoples have been caretakers of this land for thousands of years. The family of the late Frank and Charlotte Basil provided the land and structure to showcase this message, many thanks.
We continue to seek your support to install solar billboard lights on the billboard just installed, and of course, for the next instalments. Stay tuned for that!
To show your support by way of a donation, e-transfers to the Creston & District Credit Union account can be made directly to our non-profit group at [email protected]. Cheques and cash also accepted, receipts available. Email us at the same address.
On behalf of the Celebrate Canada Creston group, our humble thanks.
