The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure (MOTI) is asking that only local traffic use the section of King Street between Armour Road and Wilks Road as heavy upland runoff has left water and mud running across the roadway.

Representatives from MOTI, Regional District of East Kootenay and Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations were on site today and will be back on site tomorrow to continue to assess conditions in the area.
