A look at Slopes for Hope Kimberley
It was a beautiful day at Kimberley Alpine Resort for the Canadian Cancer Society’s annual fundraiser Slopes for Hope last Saturday.
It was an excellent turnout of skiers and snowboarders as they hit the sunny slopes, many in the name of someone they know or knew, to fight cancer March 4.
Organizers say they won’t have a full tally for a few days yet and a more detailed story will be published then. Meanwhile, organizers reported today (March 8) that they have already reached 100% of their fundraising goal, with $26,072 raised with more money coming in.
