The Dusty Downhill Northstar Mountain 10 K Run or Hike is taking place in Kimberley this Saturday, August 2.

The event is a 10 kilometre run or hike from the top of Northstar Mountain, following local trails, including the Peak to Platzl Trail and finishing in the Platzl in time to catch the first of the acts playing at the First Saturdays Gazebo.

The hike begins at 9 a.m. and run at 10 a.m.

Entry fee is $25 and kids under 10 are free. Entry includes lift ticket, event entry, shuttle from the visitors’ centre as well as a post race burger and beer/refreshment.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to First Saturdays.
