EK Track and Field Club holding drop-in
Now up and running is the East Kootenay Track and Field Club (EKFTC) and it wants to welcome all athletes.
A drop-in information session will be held April 17 from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. with practices starting on the same date at TM Roberts School. Practices will be held at the track when the in-ground sprinkler project is complete.
In its second year, EKFTC has already had results, seeing five Cranbrook athletes attend the 2012 BC Summer Games. Backed by Head Coach James O’Kane and Coach Jenn Doll – both athletes have excelled and bring a tremendous amount of enthusiasm to the club. James is a veteran track and field decathlete with a very broad skill set.
If you are interested in becoming a member of EKTFC, as an athlete, coach or volunteer, please send an e-mail to [email protected] .
