ICE open exhibition campaign
The Kootenay ICE begin their 2014 Western Hockey League exhibition schedule tonight in Kennewick, Washington against the Tri-City Americans.
The ICE will play three games at the annual Tri-City tournament this weekend, before a two-game series against the Lethbridge Hurricanes and Calgary Hitmen next weekend in Crowsnest Pass.
The 2014-15 regular season begins Friday, September 19 on the road in Red Deer.
ICE exhibition schedule: Thursday, Sept. 4 at Tri-City, 8:05 p.m. ; Friday, Sept. 5 vs. Portland (at Tri-City), 4 p.m.; Saturday, Sept. 6: vs. Everett (at Tri-City) 12 p.m.; Friday, Sept. 12: vs. Lethbridge (at Crowsnest Pass), 7 p.m.; Sunday, Sept. 14 vs. Calgary (at Crowsnest Pass), 2 p.m.
The next home action for the ICE is the 2014-15 home opener Friday, October 3 against the Spokane Chiefs.
