ICE ranked in CHL’s pre-season top 10
If Kootenay ICE fans didn’t have enough to be excited about entering the 2013/2014 Western Hockey League (WHL) season, the BMO Canadian Hockey League ( CHL) pre-season top 10 rankings should ‘ice’ the cake.
The CHL today (Sept. 12) announced the pre-season edition of the BMO CHL Top-10 rankings for the season and the ICE are listed at No. 10.
The CHL’s Top-10 teams are selected by a panel of National Hockey League scouts.
Regular season play in the WHL begins Thursday, September 19.
The ICE open the season Friday, Sept. 20 at home in Western Financial Place, when they take on the Red Deer Rebels. Game time is 7 p.m.
