Kinsmen’s Fishing Derby returns Jan. 25
The 14th annual Fishing Derby, sponsored by the Kinsmen Club of Windermere Valley, is taking place Saturday, Jan. 25 on Lake Windermere.
Registration for the community fundraiser begins at 8 a.m. at The Station Neighborhood Pub in Invermere, with tickets costing $35 a pop.
Prize money may vary depending on the number of entries, but organizers are hoping to be able to provide $500 for first, $300 for second and $200 for third.
The ice fishing derby runs from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
