Northstar Rails-to-Trails Appreciation Day
Did you know the Northstar Rails-to-Trails was opened five years ago? The fall of 2010 walkers, runners and cyclists began to use the trail.
It’s estimated since then 150,000 people have enjoyed the paved trail linking Cranbrook to Kimberley.
In appreciation, Rails-to-Trails Society directors will serving up cake and refreshments on Saturday, Sept. 26 in Kimberley at Knighton Road Crossing, from 10 to 11 a.m. and again in Cranbrook at the trailhead parking lot from 12 to 1 p.m.
Drop by, meet and talk to trail society directors and have a piece of cake.
