Progress continues toward completion of the NorthStar Trail extension in Cranbrook.  The extension was being prepped Wednesday afternoon (Sept. 21) for paving by the end of the week.  The trail extension runs from the current trailhead behind Aasland’s Taxidermy, follows the west side of the CP Railway line and exits on McPhee Road behind Tri-Mountain Service Centre.   A grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony, including public appreciation to all participating stakeholders is expected to be held in early October.
