Coyotes make a living with their nose

Coyotes have keen senses of hearing, sight, and smell. But it seems they use their sense of smell the most for finding food and avoiding dangerous predators.

Their nose can even locate prey that is scurrying below the snow. It is interesting to watch a coyote follow it’s nose and change their course in mid-step when it detects a new odour.
